Snow in Houston.

I checked the temperature and it said to be 34 degrees. Not quite cold enough to keep the snow around but cold enough to keep it around long enough to enjoy it.

I was just hit by a truck

Just a couple of hours ago I was on the METRO lightrail when a pickup truck ran a red light and hit the side of the train. The worst part is, the truck hit the door I was standing next to. I think this says a lot for the METRO trains, they are strong. I was only inches away from the point of impact and didn't even know that I was in any danger. I knew something had happened but it was only a minute later that I realized that the truck had hit so close to where I was standing.

Odyssey #1 Page updated

Published a new version of the Project / Odyssey page. I know there isn't really anything new about the odyssey page but I moved it over to the new site design. I did on the other hand enhance it using the HighSlide image module.

Just for the record, the Odyssey #1 is not currently running. Something is wrong with the motor. I am not sure why but it just dosen't want to stay running.

Photo Gallery Updated

I finally got my photo page updated. Sorry the comment feature still does not work. I have added many new pictures to the site and I have even added a slideshow feature. Once you select an album, click on an image. Hover over the image and you will see a “ghosted” control bar toward the bottom of the enlarged picture. This will allow you to navigate backwards and forward within the active album. If you click the play button it will start a slideshow. Some older PCs may have problems with the slideshow feature because it is very client process intensive. Sorry Nana.

This is my first Blog Post

Ok, so it has been almost 6 years since I turned my blog/news section off. I really had plans to upgrade the entire site and write a blog application but life got interesting. So here we are, I didn't write a blog engine but I am using a blog engine, thanks Google (blogger).

There is so much I need to catch up on. It would take forever to cover the last 6 years in a single blog entry but I will do my best to blog frequently and try to catch up from this point forward.

If you didn't know already, but the adorable little girl in my header graphic is one of the two loves of my life. She is my daugther Amelia (Mia) and she just turned 1 year on June 24, 2008.
